Randolph Goldberg use to be one of the top bankruptcy lawyers in Las Vegas. When you were thinking about filing for bankruptcy; you thought of Randolph Golderg. However, just like Al Capone, taxes was his undoing as he was convicted of tax evasion. His conviction resulted in him being permanently disbarred and he was sentenced to two years in federal prison.
Personally, I don’t have much sympathy. He made both stupid decisions and was corrupt. For example, I had one client who was told to do a chapter 13 when a chapter 13 bankruptcy was not needed. Also, I’ve talked to a few of his former clients who told me that his firm also did credit counseling for his clients. Well, he got in trouble again, as this article from CBS Las Vegas shows:
